Jon and his wife, Bethany, have raised their 5 children in Highview since 1999.  (Since 2011, the family has enjoyed the company of their two cats, Quaffle and Snitch.)  While Jon was raised on a small farm outside a town of 500 in Southern Illinois, Bethany grew up in Okolona.

Being a realtor is a natural fit for Jon based on his previous career of teaching principles of economics and statistics at Indiana University Southeast.  Jon can assess and explain the numbers and trends of the local market and how they may affect you as a buyer or seller.

But Jon knows that buying or selling your home involves much more than just those numbers and market trends.  It’s personal.  Your situation is a unique set of circumstances that needs the time and attention to get to the best solution.  While at IUS, Jon's favorite aspect of the job was when he could sit down one-on-one and advise undergraduate and graduate students – taking the time to listen and understand their goals and aspirations.  He first learned where they were in the process, what their interests were and what they wanted to achieve.  Then he guided them through the details of their degree plans and connected them with other mentors as needed to help them succeed.  This translates perfectly to the world of real estate.  Jon loves to listen and understand so he can then guide and connect.  He seeks to serve – and will be with you each step of the way.
