I followed in my mothers footsteps...she was an agent for 45 yrs. She had a passion for the Real Estate industry. She worked very hard and was very successful. I watched her closely. I wasn't sure if I would love it like she did but I think I might love it more. Like her, I love helping people. It doesn't matter the size of the transaction to me, its a big deal to each buyer and seller and its a big deal to me. I can't think of another career that keeps you learning because it is constantly changing and growing all the while building your own business at the pace you want. Of course the payoff for me is at the closing table, but not for the reason you might think. The biggest reward is knowing you have helped expedite a dream or a goal for your client and very likely, you have aquired a friend for life. My favorite quote is from Abraham Lincoln: "I don't like that man...I think I'll get to know him."
